Basic materials of German origin - if we were to stick to these criteria, you would not find any potato on our menu because it was imported from America twohundred years ago. Traditional recipe, products from German crops - of course. But what does the German Hausfrau cook every day? We tried to find out...

In our restaurant KLEINHUIS only staple foods are used wich have been grown within 250km of Hamburg. Fruit and vegetables, the Salow pork and the "Altländer" duck from the southern bank of the Elbe river are often seen in the kitchen of the KLEINHUIS, and most of our suppliers are small familiy enterprises who guarantee for the superb quality of our products.

Some of our dishes are refined with delicious sorts of coffee from the Burg Coffee roasters. Let us surprise aou with new recipes and locally grown food.
